LORRAINE BROWN has been a member of the Metairie Art Guild since 2015.
I’ve been drawing and enjoying art since childhood, and like many it was sidelined while raising a family and working too. I began in acrylics in 1987 with folk art, then in 2009 I began again with drawing and painting, and have enjoyed learning other mediums as well. I’ve done colored pencil, graphite, pen & ink, oil, acrylic and most recently, watercolor. I enjoy the creative process and have enjoyed learning from wonderful teachers.
Subject matter: I particularly enjoy landscapes, and nature.
